Objective:

Improve the quality and efficiency of product development and management

Challenges:

Several change initiatives performed in the past had not been successful, and resistance to further change was high.

Approach:

Designing an improvement programme, which involved the establishment of a steering committee to guide the improvement initiatives. Product managers invented, prioritised and implemented KPI and controlling techniques, with a focus on quality and efficiency, tailored processes, and defined roles and responsibilities. The provided training on organisational change to key players and role modelling supported the dispersion of best practices.

Results:

The implemented structures continued to provide organisational and process-related improvements.
